Course description
This is a NOVA course especially for ethology and veterinary students. Visual, olfactory and vocal communication will be three main topics in this course. There will be one or two plenary lectures in the morning before lunch, followed by shorter presentations within this issue on recent research activities by participants on the course after lunch. Both basic and applied knowledge within this field of reserach are welcome. Finally, we will arrange group work and discusssions in the afternoon. The group work will be led by the plenary speakers. The course lasts for 5 whole days. The present years topic required a lot of basic behavioural knowledge, and thus we had to use only non-NOVA lecturers to meet the requirement for knowledge within this field.
