The course is the third part of Veterinary parasitology PhD-course series. This time the focus is in parasite control and in therapy. We will handle principles of prevention of parasitic diseases in livestock, sustainable parasite control, methods of surveillance and monitoring parasite infections. Food safety will be taken into account. Of parasiticides, their mode of action, spectrum of activity, resistance issues, administration and treatment regimes will be covered.
